Buyer FAQ
Sourcing & compliance,
answered straight.
Terms, compliance, audits and supply guarantees — the questions procurement asks before signing.
What are your payment terms, and can you lock pricing across a contract?+
Standard terms are 30% deposit T/T, 70% against shipping documents — full T/T for bonded-stock despatch under 200 kg — and L/C at sight on confirmed orders above $10k. From 3× MOQ we hold annual pricing for 12 months, with reserved production slots and a quarterly re-verification of every specification.
Are your ingredients vegan and cruelty-free, and what is your allergen exposure?+
Every raw and finished ingredient is vegan and made under a no-animal-testing policy across the portfolio. Each release ships with an EU 26 allergen declaration and an allergen map per INCI, so it drops straight into your labelling review.
Do you provide efficacy or claims data we can use in finished products?+
Yes, on request. We issue stability, compatibility and in-vitro / permeation dossiers per active that state which claims they honestly support — and which they cannot. Evidence is supplied as raw data with method references for your regulatory team to review, not marketing one-liners.
Are your texturizers and polymers compliant with the EU microplastics restriction?+
Yes. The texturizer family — Xanthan Gum, Glyceryl Stearate SE, Olivem 1000 and carriers — is either naturally derived or biodegradable and relies on no synthetic microparticles covered by the EU 2023/2055 restriction. Biodegradability data and water-introduction statements are issued on request.
Will you accept a factory audit and sign an NDA?+
Yes. Qualified buyers can audit the Ningbo plant and QC lab on two weeks' notice; we share our ISO 22716 and ISO 9001 scope and review batch-evolution records on site. NDAs are signed routinely before we share composition, process or pricing data.
How do you guarantee supply under demand spikes — do you keep a second source?+
Contracted programs carry reserved production slots, and Rotterdam bonded stock on high-turnover actives turns a six-week customs conversation into domestic delivery. Each active also keeps a second qualified synthesis route, so a single line stoppage never halts your production.
How is batch traceability handled, and what happens if a batch rejects?+
Every batch is tied by lot number to raw-material receipts, process logs and the signed COA in one reconstructable record. On rejection we replace the lot or re-grade with a transparent root-cause report — the same document we would attach to our own shelf.
