Last updated: October 7, 2026
1. Who we are
RAWESS (Rawess Labs) is a pharmaceutical-grade cosmetic ingredient supplier with its headquarters and QC laboratory in Ningbo, China, and bonded distribution stock in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal data in connection with this website, sample requests and commercial orders.
2. Data we collect
We collect only the data needed to respond to you and to trade:
- Contact details — name, company, job title, work email and phone number from the sample-request and contact forms.
- Commercial data — billing and delivery addresses, VAT / EORI numbers, order and shipment records.
- Technical data — anonymous, aggregated website analytics and the cookies described in our Cookies Policy.
3. Why we process it (legal basis)
- To perform a contract — handling samples, quotes, purchase orders and delivery (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- Legitimate interest — business development, responding to enquiries and securing our website (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Legal obligation — customs, tax and product-safety records (GDPR Art. 6(1)(c)).
- Consent — any optional marketing communications, which you may withdraw at any time.
4. Sharing
We share data only with the processors required to fulfil an order: freight forwarders, customs brokers, banks and third-party laboratories. We never sell personal data. Transfers outside the EEA are covered by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. Retention
Sample and order records are kept for the retention periods required by customs and product-safety law (up to seven years). Enquiries are kept for 24 months after the last contact. Analytics data is stored in anonymised form.
6. Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing at any time by emailing [email protected]. We respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
7. Children
This website is a B2B service and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect children's data.
8. Changes
We update this policy as our practices or the law evolve. The current version is always published on this page with its effective date.
