Terms of trade.

The conditions under which RAWESS supplies pharmaceutical-grade cosmetic ingredients to business customers.

Last updated: October 7, 2026

1. Scope

These terms of trade govern every quotation, sample dispatch and purchase order placed with RAWESS by business customers. By placing an order you confirm acceptance of these terms.

2. Quotations and samples

Quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Samples are supplied under our qualification program; freight on sample parcels is carried by the recipient unless agreed in writing.

3. Orders and specifications

Each order is confirmed against the product specification in our catalog. Deviations from the published specification require written agreement before dispatch. Minimum order quantities vary by product family and are listed on each product page.

4. Quality and release

Every lot is released only after identity (HPLC/IR), purity (assay and impurity map) and safety (microbiological panel) analyses agree, and ships with a batch-specific COA, MSDS and allergen declaration. Retained samples are archived for at least 24 months.

5. Pricing and payment

Prices are quoted FOB Ningbo, CIF or DDP Rotterdam (Incoterms 2020). Payment terms are agreed per order and may include bank transfer or letter of credit.

6. Shipping and risk

Risk of loss transfers to the buyer at the point defined by the agreed Incoterm. Temperature-logged shipment is standard for heat-sensitive actives unless the buyer instructs otherwise.

7. Claims

Any quality claim must be filed in writing within 15 days of receipt, supported by the batch number and retained sample. Our liability is limited to replacement of the non-conforming goods or a refund of their price, at our election.

8. Intellectual property

INCI lists, dossiers and documentation we supply remain our intellectual property and may be used for formulation and regulatory purposes only.

9. Liability

Our total liability under any order is limited to the price of the goods in that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

10. Governing law and disputes

Orders dispatched from Ningbo are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China; orders from our Rotterdam bonded stock are governed by Dutch law. The parties will attempt good-faith resolution before formal proceedings.

11. Changes

We may revise these terms for new products, trade routes or regulatory changes. The version in force on the date of your order applies.
